The War on Drugs (Part 2)
Consciousness-altering plants were rediscovered in mainstream American society in the
‘50s and ‘60s. Teenagers were taught that getting an education, a good job and having a
materialistic worldview was all that mattered in life. Some began searching for more and
began experimenting with the hallucinogenic substances like mushrooms and peyote as well
as other substances such as cannabis and opium that had been utilized by shamans and medicine men for thousands of years. People began to discover that some of these plants
gave
people a unique perspective on life, spirituality and consciousness very opposite to
what was being taught and preached by
those
in government, media and the education
system. Many
people would report feeling spiritually enlightened and of
seeing the world for
the first time after a peyote or mushroom
experience. Others felt connected to God or a
higher level of divine purpose and consciousness. The use of
these substances began to
open people up to the
larger picture that these
materialistic ambitions truly don’t matter and
are actually quite harmful. If you’re not
being a good person, being greedy, are exploiting
other people and destroying the planet in order to get ahead
what does it matter if you
own a
house or a nice car?
The ability to see things in a different light led many to
begin protesting the government’s injustices in local and
international affairs. People began to care about people in foreign countries and our effect on the planet. The opening
of people’s minds led to an increased crack down and imprisonment for people that used these substances. Those in
control couldn’t risk people seeing things opposed to their materialistic agenda. They perceived it as a threat to their
whole social order of a duty driven, consumerist oriented, robotic like society. As far as the government is concerned
they want you to get a job, become a contributing
member of society, consume and rack up as much debt as possible
all while accepting less wages, less benefits, more responsibilities and work
hours. They want to keep you
thoughtless, distracted, entertained and apathetic to your world
that is being stolen from underneath you by a few greedy magpies at the top of
the pyramid.

The war on drugs is a war against humanity,
freedom and consciousness. As human beings we
have the inalienable right from our creator to choose what we put into our bodies, not
some government or other man-made authority. God has a purpose and made these
plants for a reason. Making these plants illegal is like saying God made a mistake - he
does not make mistakes. It is the drive of a few people that seek to control, exploit and profit from others that is to blame. The sad fact is there are tremendous profits to be
made by having these plants illegal.
The cost of these otherwise abundant, cheap plants
goes
up by anywhere from one hundred to a thousand fold
simply by being highly
controlled and illegal. As an
example, the illegal poppy crop in Afghanistan profits $500
billion per year alone, not counting cannabis or coca
production in other parts of the
world. This is the reason for the American invasion into Afghanistan to siphon
those dollars into major corporations, military and untraceable black projects. Drug
prohibition has created a
monster of an industry of military, prisons, police, surveillance,
lawyers, courts, fines, rehab centres and medications.

If opium and other plants were made legal today America would lose this huge source of profit and the total
poppy crop of Afghanistan would be worth a petty half-billion per year. Not to mention the 90% emptying of
American prisons and all the jobs that goes along with that. Police forces would be cut by 90% as gangs and
other cartels would go out of business overnight. There would be no reason for surveillance and lawyers and
judges would be out of work. The multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry would no longer hold patents and
control of otherwise natural plant substances and pain
killers. Doctors being the current gate keepers of natural
plant substances
would lose the majority of their patients; Pharmacists would lose a large
chunk of their
business as they would no longer be needed; Addicts would no
longer be at risk of overdose because the
purity of the substances would be
controlled. Addicts would also stop stealing because the price of maintaining
their habits would drop one hundred to a thousand fold, or it would become
free if they grew it. For example,
an ‘incurable addict’ with a $500 a day
habit would only have to pay anywhere from fifty cents to $5 a day once
legalized. The majority of medications are plant derived so people could
freely
begin growing their own medicines. This is the reason for these plants
being
illegal - pure profits, business and control, nothing else.
As divine beings of this earth we are equally entitled to all of its plants and
other bounties without control,
taxation
or risk of punishment.
