Meditation - The End of All Conflict: Scientific
"Meditation is the tongue of the soul and the language of our spirit"
- Jeremy Taylor
Meditation is a practise that has been used for thousands of years, and for good reason. It is a method of raising up the consciousness to a higher level
by relaxing the body, mind and spirit, and expanding the magnitude of intention's prospect to bring about marvelous transformations in the physical world.
Before you can truly understand meditation, you must have an understanding of the frequencies in which the brain can operate. There are 4 brain
frequencies, or speeds at which the brain cycles information:

As shown above, most people live their entire lives in the Beta frequency, completely oblivious to their divine gift of consciousness and enormous
potential. Many things can effect the frequency of our brain at any given time - everything from the foods we eat to the songs we listen to can either aid us
in achieving the intended level of mind, or impede upon our natural abilities to relax and tap into the unified spectrum of reality.

To date, there have been 22 studies testing the impact of meditation on crime levels. One of
these studies dealt with 48 different U.S. cities, 24 of which were sent intentions to
decrease crime.
The study showed that when meditation was performed(by only 1% of their total population)
the crime rates dropped 22%, and the crime trend dropped 89%.

This shows that only 1% of the world needs to meditate and project the intention of peace on earth for it to begin to have a profound, lasting effects on the
physical world. The numbers are growing everyday as people realize the benefits to their health, well-being, and their true and limitless potential.
Some of the nearly infinite benefits of meditation include:
- Relieves Stress
- Reduction of probability of heart disease
- Improves concentration
- Increases Happiness and well-being
- Lowers oxygen consumption
- Lowers cholesterol
- Increases creativity
- Increases feelings of euphoria
- Decreases depression
- Increases energy and rejuvenation
- Slows down the aging process
- Relieves headaches and muscle tension
- Increases immune system function

Sara Lazar, a neuroscientist at Massachusetts General Hospital, discovered that the portions of the brain
associated with attention, awareness of
sensation, sensory stimuli, and sensory processing were thicker in
meditators than nonmeditators.

In 1983 a team of meditators gathered to project intentions by meditation to resolve the Palestinian
conflict. Daily comparisons were made between the number of meditators working on the project
and the state of Arab-Israeli relations.
On days with a high number of meditators, the death rate in
Lebanon
fell by 76%. Local crime, violence,
fires and traffic
accidents also
decreased.
