Anyone who takes more medicines than they should could be suffering from substance abuse,
and should consider undergoing substance abuse treatment before the drugs start to manifest side effects.
Your Complete Guide to Health - 2
Psychological Health
There are two aspects of this section - to show the benefits of proper eating on your psychological health, as well as the
benefits of your thoughts and attitude towards healing.
Many studies have shown that 'Diseases' such as ADD, Multiple Sclerosis, Bi-Polar, and even Schizophrenia are due
completely to dietary deficiency or toxicity.
"With their nutritional needs being met, Dr. Carl Pfeiffer's Schizophrenic Patients were able to return to a completely normal
life. Nutrient Deficiencies are a major cause of the many mental and behavioural problems in our society."
-Raymond Francis M.Sc.

Modern Science and Experiments have taught us that our attitude and intentions can
improve our health. Being angry or stressed produces chemicals in our bodies that,
over time, cause toxicity and deficiencies in our bodies. Having a positive outlook on
life, and a positive outlook on healing makes an immense difference in one's health.
Here are some studies showing the relationship between psychological
health and
physical health:
- A study from The New England Journal of Medicine in 1991 found
that stressful times (job loss, divorce, etc) almost doubles one's risk
of catching a cold.
- A Psychosomatic Medicine study, done in 2001, found that optimism
offers great protection against heart disease.
- In his 1978 book Getting Well Again, Dr. O. Carl Simonton found that
people who used their minds to heal had double the survival rate of
those who did not.
- A study from a 2000 issue of Lancet found that women are 80
percent more likely to have a child with birth defects if they
experience severe emotional stress in their first trimester of
pregnancy.
Physical Health

Our bodies are made to move, and it's important that you get at least some exercise
everyday, whether it's a brisk walk, yoga, weight lifting,
swimming, or aerobics.
Here are some benefits of exercise as described in Never Be Sick Again:
- Releases brain chemicals that alleviate stress, anxiety and depression.
- Enhances the Immune system (by increasing natural killer-cell activity)
and improves the body's ability to fight infections.
- Slows the onset of aging effects such as slowed nerve impulses and
bone
demineralization (including osteoporosis)
- Helps lower blood pressure. Regular exercise can lower blood pressure
by 10 points
or more.
- Helps prevent cardiovascular disease by blocking the build-up of plaque in arteries.
- Dissolves blood clots and reduces the risk of stroke.
- Reduces the risk of cancer; a 60% reduction of breast cancer in women is
achieved
from just 4 hours of exercise per week.
One of the
best ways to exercise is by doing Hot Yoga, which will stretch and
strengthen every muscle, joint and ligament
in your body, and
will
also help you sweat
out many of the toxins built up in your system.
Genetics and Health
Due to society's Newtonian view on health and the enormous amounts of sickness all around us, people have developed
incorrect perceptions on health. Many think they are lucky if they don't get sick, and when they do, they avoid taking
responsibility for the illness by blaming it on genetics.
In a recent lecture called Where Mind and Matter Meet, Author and Doctor Bruce Lipton describes a study where the nucleus
and DNA were removed from a cell, and the cell continued to live on for months without any genetic material inside.
DNA is only genetic potential, it is up to you whether you activate that potential or not through love and intention.
Medical - Helpful or Harmful?
The July 26, 2000 publication of the Journal of the American Medical Association is filled with statistics on
death and injuries caused by modern
medical practise. The most recent annual estimate of hospital-caused
deaths is as follows:
- 106,000 deaths from 'properly' prescribed drugs
- 80,000 deaths from hospital-caused infections
- 12,000 deaths from unnecessary surgery
- 20,000 deaths from other errors

This, totalling 225,000 deaths
annually, is a conservative
figure,
as medicine-caused deaths have
been
estimated at
an additional
200,000 per year. Why would the
doctor
report someone's death as a result of
prescription
'medicine'
when he could so easily blame it on
something
else. To paraphrase, a
doctor's train of thought
would be
along the lines of - "Let's call this
one liver failure, so I
don't need to assume responsibility or hold any guilt." .
I think
doctors are generally good people
with the best of
intentions, but
they simply do not have the means
to heal a
person.
So if you continue to believe that
you can
eat toxic food and
be magically fixed by a doctor when
you acquire
disease
and you will
never see
health.
Get the proper nutrients and avoid
toxins from entering your
body, and
you will never need to go
to a
doctor again, for
anything other
than the readjustment of a broken
bone or repairation of a physical injury..
Take responsibility for your health
and transform your life
into one
that is eternally happy and healthy
so that you,
and all of those around
you
may benefit.
